PRIVACY POLICY

I write this afternoon to celebrate our very successful Teach-In today. The Change Coalition, composed of over 25 students representing students of different race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, nationality and class, planned, organized and co-facilitated a powerful, productive, effective and impactful day. The schedule for the day was structured around rotations of workshops which each student cycled through, including Race, Class, Sexuality/Gender, and a Privilege Walk exercise.In the Race workshop, the goal was to be as personal as possible and to encourage participants to speak from the place you speak from.

perspective (a norm across workshop topics), not to intellectualize the topic. Workshop attendees were invited to share their first memories of recognizing their racial identity and their racial privilege. We also watched a video where we learned about the social construction
