Pacific Pines State Park sits on the Pacific shore. The area is conducive to all manner of day-trip beach activity and nature observation. The park received its name from a plotting done while it was in private ownership. The proposed development was to be called Pacific Pines. The park was created to establish permanent public access to the beach.
