Camano Island

Camano Island State Park is a 134-acre camping park with 6,700 feet of rocky shoreline and beach. The park provides sweeping views of Puget Sound and the Olympic and Cascade mountains. After the land was designated for use as a park in 1949, the initial development was accomplished in a single day by nearly 900 volunteers from Stanwood and Camano Island. The park celebrated its 50th birthday in July, 1999.

Camano Island: Views and camping

Rated 4.0 out of 5
September 22, 2019

When in need of a last minute camping spot, Camano Island SP delivers. We enjoyed the awesome views of the mountains and beach access. This park is just down the road from Cama Beach so we head over there to use the dining room and wooden boat center and back to Camano Island for peaceful tenting.
