Forest Hikes

Head to the Skagit River to experience a classic western Washington river and forests. Rasar and Rockport State Parks are hosting guided forest hikes.

Experience the wonder and majesty of  an old growth forest via guided hikes at Rockport State Park through a Deep Forest Hike.

Guided hikes last 30-45 minutes and will be held on:

 Sat., February 22 at  11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm

 Sat., February 29 at  11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm

Can’t make the hike? Then head to the Discover Center – it is open from 10-4 with interactive displays and activities. Events and hikes are free but you need a Discover Pass.

The Deep Forest Experience at Rasar includes guided hikes, family fun activities with interactive displays, snacks and refreshments.

Guided hikes will be held:

Sat., February 22 at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm

 Sat., February 29 at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm

Can’t make the hike? The Discover Center is open from 10am to 4pm. Events and hikes are free but you need a Discover Pass.
