Check Out Washington with an Adventure Pack!

This summer, Washington State Parks Foundation, in partnership with WSECU, State Parks and State Libraries in launched the Check Out Washington

Adventure Pack Program that allows local library card holders to check out Adventure Packs, including special Discover Passes, for a week at a time.

This 2022 expansion of the popular Check Out Washington interagency program prioritizes communities where health disparity data indicate higher need for free access to outdoor recreation opportunities.

The new adventure packs essentially triple the number of available passes in communities and libraries that need them most, while providing a suite of new resources to enhance first-time park visits.

This program expansion is focused on these 10 library systems in Washington:

Fairchild Air Force Base Library

Joint Base Lewis-McChord Libraries

King County Library System

Pierce County Library System

North Central WA Libraries

Spokane County Library District

Spokane Public Library

Tacoma Public Library

Timberland Regional Library

Yakima Valley Libraries
