Thank you to everyone who ran with Bob Ross… in spirit… to support trees and your state parks!

Inspired by Bob Ross’ passion for the outdoors, the Washington State Parks Foundation hosted Washington’s “2025 Run for the Trees: Happy Little (Virtual) 5K” that took place between Earth Day (April 22) and Arbor Day (April 26).  Over 525 supporters ran, walked and rolled to raise funds for tree plantings and maintenance.

Everyone who participated also got a shirt, bibb and finisher’s medal. Stay tuned for announcements this fall if you want to join in 2026!
