The Kukutali Preserve State Park Heritage Site is located in the Similk Bay, off the Swinomish Reservation. This Heritage Site is co-owned and co-managed by the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community and the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. There is a small parking lot that accesses an easy, forest trail that opens up to a beautiful shoreline on Samish Bay. Look out across the bay and you’ll see two state parks – Deception Pass and Hope Island. This site is open from dawn to dusk.
