Make the best of winter – Snowshoe Hikes

Get your snowshoes and head to state parks. This month Lake Easton and Lake Wenatchee are offering guided hikes.

Hikes are free but be sure to have a Sno-Park pass.

Guided snowshoe hikes at Lake Easton State Park

Hikes will be about 3 miles on moderate terrain and last approximately 2.5 hours. All ages and ability levels are welcome. Guides will share tidbits on natural history, snowshoeing basics and safety information during the hikes. Bring snowshoes, poles, layered clothing, boots and water.

Hikes are free but you’ll need a Sno-Park permit with a groomed trails sticker.

Guided snowshoe hikes at Lake Wenatchee State Park

Enjoy a guided snowshoe hike through gorgeous scenery along the Wenatchee River, the shore of Lake Wenatchee and surrounding forest. The hike is free but a valid Sno-park permit is required.

Participants can enjoy a well-packed route through parts of our park that are not always accessible in summer. Expect some historical talking points about the park and views of Nason Ridge, Dirty Face, South Beach and with some luck you may see some wildlife!
